Under Roger’s expert guidance, you’ll learn the complete creative and technical process of designing and constructing a chocolate showpiece that reflects your unique style; from initial concept sketch to final presentation.
What You’ll Learn
- Showpiece Design & Structural Planning: Develop the skills to sketch, blueprint, and plan large-scale chocolate sculptures with precision and stability.
- Advanced Chocolate Techniques: Master casting, moulding, carving, and shaping chocolate components, plus cold emulsion sculpting for intricate details.
- Professional Finishing Methods: Learn airbrushing, spray gun handling, custom colour creation, and painting techniques for maximum visual impact.
- Decorative Elements: Create sugar flowers and textured details using silk screens and stencils to elevate your showpiece artistry.
- Hands-On Experience: Across three intensive days, you’ll design and build your own chocolate showpiece, incorporating innovative techniques and professional-level craftsmanship. Your creation will showcase artistry, precision, and the exceptional quality of Valrhona chocolate.
