To recognise the achievements of this year’s National Chef of the Year semi‑finalists, Angus Pure, in partnership with Aussie Beef & Lamb, will host a dedicated Chefs’ Lunch at TheTasteLab.

This event is designed as a moment of pause and celebration within the NCOTY calendar, the event brings chefs together for an immersive experience that blends fine food, product insight and behind‑the‑scenes access.

Guests will enjoy a bespoke two‑course lunch, curated by Chef Russell Bateman, created to showcase the quality and versatility of Angus Pure beef within a professional kitchen context.

The programme also includes:

  • A guided tour of the Classic Fine Foods warehouse, offering insight into operations, sourcing and scale
  • A butchery demonstration led by Master Butcher Richard Sanders, highlighting Angus Pure beef cuts available as part of the NCOTY competition brief
  • An opportunity to explore the facilities at TheTasteLab, designed specifically for chef development, innovation and collaboration

The day will conclude with the announcement of the 10 finalists progressing in the 2026 National Chef of the Year competition.
